Activation Plan

Project Description: MLTPA, in collaboration with our Industry Sector Coordinator partner, Sierra Focus Media, is developing the Activation Plan for the Sustainable Recreation & Tourism sector of the Eastern Sierra region as part of the California Jobs First initiative. The Activation Plan will serve as a comprehensive framework for the short-term implementation of the Regional Strategic Plan, guiding efforts to advance and grow the Sierra Jobs First initiative. This plan will outline key strategies, priority actions, and collaborative opportunities to strengthen the region’s sustainable recreation and tourism economy. MLTPA and Sierra Focus Media will submit the Sustainable Recreation & Tourism Activation Plan to the state in June 2025.
