MLTS Standards Manual

Project Description: The Mammoth Lakes Trail System (MLTS) Standards Manual is a comprehensive guide that outlines the design and placement standards for signage and wayfinding elements on paved paths and soft-surface trails within the MLTS. The goal of the Standards Manual is to ensure that MLTS users have the essential information to navigate the trail system effectively. Signs offer standardized information about user location, nearby amenities, allowed trail uses, and connecting trails. The Standards Manual documents the layout, construction, materials, maintenance practices, and graphics for all generations of MLTS signs. By adhering to these standards, the MLTS aims to enhance the user experience and promote seamless navigation throughout the trail system.
