Land management informational meetings, on-site demonstrations, and presentations designed to collect public input for the implementation of winter elements of the Town of Mammoth Lakes Trail System Master Plan - held at the Sierra Event Center, 452 Old Mammoth Road, March 18 & 19, 2016.

Luis Benitez, renowned mountaineer and the director of the State of Colorado’s Outdoor Recreation Industry Office, will kick-off the Summit speaking on the Eastern Sierra’s unique place in the growing outdoor recreation movement.
SEMBA (Sierra Eastside Mountain Biking Association) will be running a winter fat biking demo event on groomed trails at the Sierra Star Golf Course. Come check out the newest and greatest technology in biking for free!
The Inyo National Forest is beginning the process to determine the future Over-Snow Vehicle (OSVs or snowmobiles) management on the Forest as part of the 2005 Travel Management Rule (Subpart C). To be presented by USFS Staff.
SEMBA (Sierra Eastside Mountain Biking Association) will be presenting background information and a vision for winter fat biking in Mammoth Lakes and the Eastern Sierra - help craft the vision!
