September 17: Lakes Basin Cleanup
Series Sponsors: Inyo National Forest, Town of Mammmoth Lakes, Measure R
Event Sponsor: Mammoth Coffee Roasting Co.
Project Description:
After two years of being postponed the annual LAKES BASIN CLEANUP is back!
Please join us for a fun day of stewardship and connection held in conjunction with the Great Sierra River Cleanup. Meet your local Trail Hosts at the Horseshoe Lake parking lot at 9 a.m. Bring your own lunch, seating (if desired) and water bottle. The day of work will be followed by dessert and fun giveaways for everyone! Please dress for trail work. Closed-toe shoes and long pants required; walk, bike ride or carpool if you can.
Email traildays@mltpa.org, or call (530) 251-6122 to speak with me, Joel Rathje, the Mammoth Lakes Trail System Trails Manger, if you have questions.
Trail Days are made possible by the Town of Mammoth Lakes, Inyo National Forest, Mammoth Lakes Recreation, and Mammoth’s own Measure R! And special thanks to KMMT Radio for airtime to spread the word!
