Series Sponsors: Mammoth Lakes Sunrise RotaryOld New York Deli and Bagel Company and Mammoth Brewing Company

Project Description: Mountain Biking Matters! Find out just how much as we kick off Summer of Stewardship Trail Days 2013 on National Trails Day, Saturday June 1, 2013. Volunteers will be working to re-establish the Panorama Dome Mountain Bike trails, including section of the trail affected by the recently completed fuels reduction logging effort. We will also build the final section of "SHARP 12b", a mountain biking trail just about completed last fall as recommended in SHARP by the Sherwins Working Group; work on the Panorama Dome Trail; and install Mammoth Lakes Trail System plaques on bollards and mileposts along the Lakes Basin Path. Volunteers will learn trail maintenance skills from Friends of the Inyo staff. Those interested in being regular members of the Mammoth Lakes Trail System volunteer trail crew should come on June 1 to get trained up for future SOS projects.
