Mammoth Lakes SOS 2009: June 6, National Trails Day at Sherwin Lakes

Project Description: Combined forces of 41 folks (volunteers and staff) teamed up to kick off the Mammoth Lakes Summer of Stewardship 2009 series with a trail-work party at the Sherwin Lakes Trailhead. We had so many volunteers, in fact, that they were split into three different teams to work on three different projects in three different areas! (Check out the “Deliverables” section below for statistics.) This event proved the community’s commitment to taking care of the outdoor recreation amenities we all enjoy here in Mammoth Lakes and set the stage for a sizzling summer of stewardship!
