Mammoth Lakes SOS 2009: September 26, Inyo Craters

Co-hosted by Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center and Mammoth Snowmobile Adventures!

Project Description: For the final Mammoth Lakes Summer of Stewardship 2009 project, volunteers celebrated National Public Lands Day at Inyo Craters. Crews re-routed the trailhead for better access and restored use trails; built steps; restored an area at the top of the crater; created a new return trail from the top; and painted picnic tables and picked up trash.
