Summer of Stewardship 2011: August 13 at Inyo Craters
Co-hosted by Mammoth Motorcycle Club
Co-sponsored by Footloose Sports, the Old New York Deli & Bagel Company, and Java Joint Café
Project Description: Trail maintenance on the Crater trails and bike trail, plus sign repair and parking-area cleanup. We'll stage under the pop-up tent at the Inyo Craters parking lot (and we encourage volunteers to carpool, as parking is limited), review safety procedures, announce the day's tasks, and have a bagel breakfast, then break into small groups to work on specific projects.
Volunteers will work for approximately three hours, then meet back at the tent for lunch and raffle prizes. Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and on-the-ground conditions!
